Hey everyone,
So I just wanted to open up a little horror game discussion here because… I think I’m officially addicted 😅
I don’t know what it is about horror games, but they completely suck me in. Maybe it’s the tension, the creepy atmosphere, or the feeling that something is ALWAYS behind me (even when there’s not). I’ve played everything from FNAF to Amanda the Adventurer, The Baby in Yellow, and even weird browser stuff like Bou’s Revenge. And let me tell you… they mess with my head in the best way.
It’s funny because I’m the kind of person who hides under a blanket during scary movies, but give me a flashlight and a dark hallway in a game and I’m like, “Okay… one more level.”
The jump scares? Brutal.
The suspense? Top tier.
The sleep after playing? Basically non-existent.
But I keep going back. Why? I think it’s because horror games challenge me emotionally. They’re unpredictable, immersive, and when they’re good—they leave a real impact. Not many genres can do that.
So what about you all?
What horror game has scared you the MOST?
Any underrated horror games I should try next?
Do you prefer psychological horror or full-on monsters and chaos?
