Why I Stamp:

Get more out of money. I can “advertise” with each bill and still get full dollar. I’m part of a team working to end Citizens United, get big money out of politics and strengthen democracy.

Plus stamps are sick –resist, the old fashioned way!

Favorite Place to Spend Stamped Money:

Vending machines when I travel. I like to think of it as releasing a foreign species into their ecosystem.

Tips for Fellow Stampers:

1. Go to a bank teller with a check and withdraw it in a combo of 1’s, 5’s or 10’s. You get a big old wad, and feel like a playa’

2. It should be free, if not the fee is usually $8. Not bad when you consider how many more bills you get to ink.

3. Once home, stamp all bills, in any state of undress you feel appropriate.

4. Re-dress.

5. Deposit newly stamped bills into your account. Most machines will take them (although some models reject my artistry).

6. Watch your number of sightings skyrocket.

7. Repeat.
